Welcome to the year 2016. Things got a bit wayward and inconsistent at the end of the year with this blog. Planning on moving to a weekly post as I have some other (more serious) things I need to focus on. Although blogging may be more fun and less stressful. I am in the process of making a career change, and currently waiting to hear about getting into full time study in the field of Photography. Until this is locked in and starts life is in a bit of a flux. I also need to fund this change and by doing so with a a very different line of work to what I have done for the past 15 odd years. My M – F, 9 – 5 time will now be taken up with study. I’m rather excited about it all.
Until things get more concrete I will focus on the smaller beautiful moments that summertime can bring. I cannot wait to put the tiny toms into salads, and I may even make some bread for the bigger ones.

An Op shop find and in desperate need of a clean and a good check over. Apparently there are better second hand models I could have purchased, but you know what I cannot wait to do a test run, I havent used film for years.
Checked in at the closest shop that could check and clean it and they are so busy I have to go back at the end of the month to even drop it off!! Who said film was dead? Hipsters, keeping things alive!

You catch glimpses of them everywhere, as your train turns a bends, when you look up a lane as you drive by, out the window of a building. What a beautiful colour for a flower and how wonderful that the entire tree blooms. After the wind or storms you have the “purple carpet”. Will see if I can find any today after last nights storm.
