Newtown Festival on the weekend… loved it as always. Yearly hot dog and a drink on the lawn with friends while listening to live music. Including Coda Conduct.

At the shop buying sunscreen as we were on our way to the beach and this kid comes out and is all… “hey take my picture, put me in the paper”. His friends were still in the corner store buying soft drinks and it reminded me of a hundred different days I had with my friends growing up.
Click, click. “so, what’s your name?” I ask. “Anthony”.

I feel that with a large amount of post production and HDR that this image could move into Jeffrey Smart Urban-scapes painting territory. Maybe Im full of wishful thinking but I can see it in there, does anyone else?

So I had my second proper photo shoot recently. This time of a band practicing in a Recording studio. The band and music made up for the eye popping decor, (I dont know where they found those curtains, and let’s not even speak about the carpet).
I had an absolute blast taking the photos, it just made me love photography even more.
