About Ms. Viks

A woman, her camera and her view.

Vikki mentally photographs just about everything; her camera is a tool to freeze the beauty around her. Spending as much time as possible observing light, swapping between silence and clicks.

With my own life captured on slides, various types of film, and the ever expanding DSLR range, I have always been drawn to the stillness of photography. First taking photographs with a Kodak disc camera in the early 80’s, moving onto 35mm and now Canon DSLR. My work focuses on exploring the ever changing world and my personal position in this space.

  6. Thanks for joining my blog. Your pictures are very inspiring. I especially like those taken from “above”, the perspective becomes more dramatic in a way. I’ve always been drawn to particular line arrangements. Vertical lines mostly, the ones that can be seen all over urban landscapes. Just recently I decided to step out of my comfort zone and tackle nature with its mind-boggling perspective and overwhelming lines. Needless to say I feel like I’m visiting another planet.
